Announces the Release of Feed Tags™ Version 1.7

Brooklyn Center, MN, - February 5, 2009 - Feed Management Systems, an award-winning solutions provider to the worldwide commercial feed industry, announced today the release of Feed Tags™ Version 1.7. Feed Tags is the industry standard solution providing business logic in a feed management software solution that ensures the highest compliance for labeling. Awarded the “Food Safety Innovation Award” by the American Feed Industry Association, this product is a versatile label generator that evaluates medications in feed formulas for accuracy and compliance with AAFCO/CFIA labeling requirements and inclusion restrictions.

Feed Management Systems continues to improve on its award-winning Feed Tags solution with the release of Version 1.7 version incorporating enhancements and new features to meet the compliance and technology needs of commercial feed manufacturers. This release includes:
 
• Enhanced Security – specify security settings for the Feed Texture field on the Formula Definition window providing more flexibility to add, change, or delete information without changing other information in the Formula Definition

• Increased Usability – change multi-item tag lines more easily, easily print a Manufacturer’s name and address by formula, print User IDs on a feed tag, added flexibility in the Guaranteed Analysis window, ability to customize Automatic Update Settings for Compendium versions, ability to search for a partial description, create new bar codes quickly and easily, improved handling of premix ingredients, nutrient units have been appended to the nutrient names, and ability to export and import Prescriptions

• Enhancements – more than 20 additional enhancements were made to Feed Tags in this release

• Compatibility – Feed Tags versions 1.6 or greater are compatible with Microsoft Vista and Office 2007.
