Participation in Cargill Animal Nutrition’s (CAN) Green Day yields food donations to the “Feed America” campaign.
Feed Management Systems (FMS) employees in Fargo provided 3,600 meals to help feed America’s hungry.
A themed team building activity collected food items that were then donated to the local Great Plains Food Bank. According to Amy Seavert, the local event coordinator, the event was a “team building experience to give back to the community and celebrate the CAN culture.”
The event was part of the CAN annual Green Day. Green Day is embraced globally by about 10,000 employees in 23 countries to reinforce the organization’s culture community engagement, and its values.
“It is very satisfying and rewarding to know that Cargill supports community engagement, and encourages employee participation,” said employee Tanya Watkins.
