The FMS Management Team includes industry veterans with substantial expertise in leading software and high-technology companies. Together with our team members, we have the experience to deliver award winning global solutions for the feed process manufacturing industry:

Richard Reynertson

Rich Reynertson is CEO of Feed Management Systems, Inc. and a member of the company’s Board of Directors. With more than 16 years of senior level software and professional services development experience, Reynertson has worked with many Fortune 100 companies. He is best known for his consistent track-record of refocusing and revitalizing under-performing business assets.

Since his appointment as CEO in 2001, Reynertson is credited with a highly successful turnaround of FMS.

During his career, Reynertson has been a key player in several successful turnarounds, mergers and acquisitions. His strategic leadership and consistent ability to meet and exceed financial performance expectations are well-known within Minnesota venture capital circles.

Reynertson holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Physics from Bethel College and lives in White Bear Lake with his family.

Duey Yliniemi

Duey Yliniemi brings a wealth of experience in software development as a software engineer and a manager of complex projects. Following his graduation in 1992 with a bachelor's degree in computer information systems, Duey worked for Great Plains Software and was integral in the development of their software focusing on distribution. Joining ESI in 1994, Duey was the technical lead for Dexterity and Dynamics projects, for which he was responsible for managing a team and meeting release dates. Duey's responsibilities have grown to include the management of Feed Management Systems entire team of software engineers, quality assurance and documentation personnel.

Jeff Swanson

Jeff joins FMS from a 4-year stint providing sales and marketing leadership to three small, information technology product and services firms in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area including 2 start-ups.  Prior to these projects Jeff was the President of Microage Technology Services, a national IT infrastructure services company.  Under his leadership MTS expanded from a $180 million regional organization with 8 offices to a $1.8 billion national player with 45 offices.  Prior to Microage, Jeff was the Executive Vice President of Sales and Services for AmeriData Inc.

Jeff was awarded a degree in Business Administration from the University of Minnesota and is on the Grant Committee of the Minnesota Chapter of Social Venture Partners.

Paula Peterson

Paula Peterson joined Feed Management Systems in September 2004. As the Director of Marketing and Partner Relations, her responsibilities are centered around managing marketing initiatives, leveraging strategic relationships for product and go to market with key suppliers like Microsoft, and creating relationships for distribution and services to our clients globally.

Paula brings 18 years of experience with Microsoft Business Solutions, formally Great Plains.  Her background includes developing international markets, executive administration, sales distribution and operations programs, channel development and recognition.  Her experience working for a global ERP company brings a variety of skills and experience to Feed Management Systems.

Having graduated from Minnesota State Community and Technical College in Moorhead MN, she continues to make that her home with her husband.

Janet Rebman Lillevold

Janet Rebman Lillevold is Head of Operations of Feed Management Systems. With 20 plus years of experience in operations, program management, and technology, Janet has developed departments and operational infrastructures in companies ranging from Fortune 100 to start-ups. Janet's expertise has helped companies build their revenue, reduce their operating costs, improve their organizational structure, and expand their service capabilities. Prior to joining FMS, Janet was Vice President of Operations & IT at ThreeWire, Inc.

Janet holds a Bachelors of Science in Biology from The University of Michigan, a Masters of Science from Drexel University, and an M.B.A from New York University. Janet resides in Wayzata with her family.

Chris Nelson

Chris Nelson has recently joined the Feed Management System's team as Head of Product Management.

Prior to joining Feed Management Systems, Chris spent eighteen months working with several small businesses and start-ups through his own consulting company. Previously, he spent 13 years at Microsoft / Great Plains in leadership positions working across a number of different areas including; services strategy, global sales, marketing, communications, training, and technical services.

Chris holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Concordia College (Moorhead, Minnesota) and a Master of Business Administration from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota.
